Roland Ligtenberg is currently doing product & business development at Qualcomm Labs for Gimbal, a mobile contextual awareness SDK & platform for Android and iOS. Before joining Qualcomm, he founded several of his own ventures across different market segments; Conquest Adventures: a scuba diving and adventure outfitter in Los Cabos – Mexico, San Diego Music & Technology Conference 2010: attracted 250 attendees, 100 online viewers, 13 panels, 44 speakers, and 21 electronic artist to discuss the future and fusion of electronic music and technology, First Bank of Rock: the first artist intelligence network that help bands connect and monetize their fans while providing tracking and funding for live tours. Adriaan Ligtenberg

Co-Founder - Managing Partner

Adriaan Ligtenberg has over 25 years of experience in creating, building, operating and exiting notable technology enterprises. Dr. Ligtenberg graduated from Delft University in 1980 with a degree in electrical engineering, and received his Ph.D. in computer science from The University of Lausanne in 1983. He has been actively involved in the entrepreneurship programs at both Stanford Graduate School of Business and Keio University in Tokyo. Dr. Ligtenberg was an early member of the Band of Angels, and a limited partner in August Capital, IT-Farm and Point-One Ventures. Having successfully IPOed two technology companies (Storm Technology, C-Cube Microsystems), helping turn around a multi-billion dollar semiconductor company (Cadence Design Systems), and co-founding an impressive international private equity fund (Pacific Technology Partners), he brings a broad and multi-faceted skill set and knowledge base to Light Mountain Partners.
